Kicking Things Off July 20, 2006

I started back on phase 1 of South Beach today. That means lots of veggies, 3 snacks a day and nasty V-8 to kick off each day.
My starting weight is 212
My goal is 175
My all-time high weight was 252
My low was 180
No problems so far. I’m hoping I can get 3 miles running in tomorrow.

I am two days in on low carb-high protein…maybe stricter than Phase 1 of South Beach. I have walked one hour (almost 4 miles) for the last two days.
Sorry, not going to post my starting weight but I will give my lbs lost as they occur.

I started back on Phase 1 yesterday – weight 176, but I’m more interested in inches around the waist lost than I am pounds. At 34″ waist now, hoping for 32″ (I went from 36″ to 33.5″ on my first SBP1). Fortunately, I love V8 – the low-sodium kind, as my blood pressure can be a bit cranky.
